Ana Kovacevic

Born in 1988 in Belgrade, where she graduated with the highest grade, completed her specialization, and currently holds the second year of doctoral studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Jokut Mihailović. The winner is the award from the Slobodanka Milošević-Savić Fund for the best student of the piano section. She graduated from the elementary music school "Vladimir Djordjevic" as a student in the class of prof. Jelena Filotić and piano and theoretical section at the secondary music school "Josip Slavenski" in the class of prof. Olge Bauer, with the award for the best graduation exam. During her education she was intensively studying with prof. Aleksandra Bauera. She continued her training at the seminars of Alexander Sinchuk, Mihail Ude and Arba Valdma. At numerous national and international competitions she won awards. Laureate of the IV Slobomir International Music Competition Competition (2015), the laureate in the oldest category at the IX International Competition "Davorin Jenko" (2012), won the II prize at the three-thenth IV International Competition "Dimitar Nenov" (2011), and the 1st prize Slobomir International music competition - discipline piano duo. In the high school and secondary music school he also won numerous awards (1st Prize III Memorial "Dr Vojislav Vučković", 1st prize at the Piano Talent Promenade, and Prize at the Republic Competition of Music and Ballet Schools, Laureat at the International Young Pianists Festival Art Studio Šabac (2003) etc).

She regularly organizes concerts as a soloist and chamber musician. She played in all important salons in Belgrade (Velika sala and Muzička galerija Kolarčeva zadužbina, Dom Vojske Srbije, Skupština grada Beograda, Galerija SANU, Kulturni centar Beograd, Ruski dom, Kucera, KC Čukarica itd.). Ana premiered Koncertino for piano and chamber orchestra op. 205 Dejan Despić, and with the artistic ensemble "Stanislav Binički" (conductor Rade Pejčić, 2016). She performed at the Arsoli Theater in Italy (2016), as well as at the final concert of the winner of the Maria Canals contest in Barcelona as guest and several times as a participant of the OFF Festival within the same competition (2012, Spain). She also performed Lisy and piano concert Es-major with the artistic ensemble "Stanislav Binički" (conductor Draško Jankovic, 2017) by the Razgrad Philharmonic (conductor Krasen Ivanov - 2011, Bulgaria). She has performed several times on radio and television - Dragstor serious music by Dejan Djurovic, Radio-Belgrade Meetings, Musician's Diary (Radio Novi Sad), Broadcasts of the Week and All Colors of Life (RTS 2). She held solo concerts at the SANU Gallery (2016), the Belgrade City Assembly within the October editions of Chopin Fest and the KCB (2018, 2015), the SKC (2014), Guarnerius in the framework of FMU and Guarnerius (2013) , as well as several concerts within the cycle of Monday in Djordjevic (Ms. Djordjevic). In the chamber duo with the violinist Dragan Petaković, he had a remarkable concert at the Second FRONT Festival in KCB (2015).

She is active at the scene and in multimedia projects in the field of modern art music - projects Quiet and nothing, Man with an umbrella and Imaginary landscapes of John Cage in the KCB, as well as Srédina Sredina.

She works in the secondary music school "Davorin Jenko" as a piano professor and korepetitor violinist since 2012, and her students achieve remarkable results at domestic and international competitions. They also regularly play at important salons in Belgrade and other cities of Serbia and the region.
