In 2009, Antal moved to Freiburg, where he began his training at the Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg with the respected prof. Bože Paradžika soon began working at the Philharmonisches Orchester Freiburg. At that time he cooperated with many orchestras such as Swr Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden und Freiburg, Lucerner Sinfonieorchester, Sudwestdeutschen Kammerorchester Pforzheim, Württembergischen Kammerorchesters Heilbronn.

Since 2016 he is a member of the Zagreb Philharmonic as deputy leader of the double bass. 2022 he becomes a solo bass player in the renowned ensemble of Zagreb soloists, and in the same year he starts working at the Music Academy as a double bass assistant. 2024 starts working at the Academy of Music in Zagreb as a professor of double bass.
