The guitarist Tvrtko Saric was born in Gospic. He began his musical tranining in Rijeka where he studied for three years in Class Nicholas Jedrlinic and graduated in the class of prof. Istvan Römer. He graduated in the class of prof. Darko Petrinjak at the Zagreb Music Academy. At the High School of Music in Lovran he attended the one-year specialization in prof. Goran Listeš class.
During his studies and later, he participated at the national and international master classes (V. Dešpalj, M.L. Saomarcos, D. Russell, R. Issac, M. Barrueco).
Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Poland, Bosnia, Mexico and the United States are just some of the countries in which he has performed as a soloist and chamber musician.
As a soloist, he has performed with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Strong Orchestra Celje, and almost all the string quartets in Croatia. He performs in Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra and ensemble Cantus. Since 2010 he is a member of the Renaissance ensemble Minstrel, where he played the lute.
So far, he has released four albums. The first is from Insieme in 2001, with pianist Damir Greguric, published by the Slovenian publishing house "Coda". Two were released by Aquarius Records: a solo recital CD of the 2006th year and " ... and than turn to the mountain..." with Slovenian flutist Matthew GRAHEK recorded in 2007, and Welcome to the Renaissance, in 2011, Minstrel ensemble (Menart).
He is the founder and artistic director of several music cycle in the town of Gospic , Lika - Senj.
He is an educator and senior lecturer at the Department of teacher studies at the University of Zadar.
