Ivanka Kordic graduated piano in 1978 at the Music Academy in Zagreb in class of prof. Ive Macek. All her life she spent in the music school in Lisinski Zagreb, where she was (1983 – 1996) Headmaster at Department for piano.

Ivanka Ordic raised many generations of young pianists. Her students have won many awards and recognitions onnational and international competitions, they played as soloist with renowned orchestras, recorded for radio and television, and had numerous recitals, and continued to study at high schools in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Katowicma, Moscow and Paris.
