Ivana Smolcic Tomovic

Ivana Smolcic Tomovic is a pianist from Belgrade and a piano teacher at the Davorin Jenko Secondary School in Belgrade. She completed full-time and master's studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the classes of Darinka Mihajlović - Dusija, Aleksandra Pavlović, Tijana Humo, Ninoslav Živković and Branko Penčić. After that, she continued her training in Prague conservatories in classes with professors Maxian František and Irina Kontratenko.

During high school and studies, she attended seminars by Professor Arbo Valdma, and was also at master classes at renowned pianists and professors such as Alexander Bashkirov, Elena Vlasakova...

She holds solo concerts and nurtures chamber music. As a soloist, she performed with the Art Ensemble of the Ministry of Defense "Stanislav Binički" under the baton of maestro Pavle Medaković in the House of the Army.

She has won numerous awards, of which the third place stands out in the competition "Fr. Chopin "in Rome and second place in the" Nikolai Rubinastain "competition in Paris. She was also a member of the jury at the international piano competition in Verbanja - Italy. She was also noticed as an accompanist.
